Having a 315 (many) cmh light myself, I can tell you that yes, this light indeed produces roughly 90% of the visible (to the eye) than a 315w cmh. Perhaps the other 10% is simply in an invisible spectrum like uv or ir, but the difference is so little in comparison to longevity and VERY SMALL amounts of heat output that it is a dream come true for those sweating these summer months to come. People dont expect the quality off flower i pull out when we smoke the first time. These lights are killer for a home grow. All the power of a CMH in an LED. Plants definately adore these lights. Like little suns in the tent.

This light is an absolute beauty. The heat sinks keep the light at a very reasonable temperature for what it is pushing through that little panel. This is the light that you hang a little higher but get phenomenal light penetration. I have ran this in a 2’x2.5’ tall gorilla type tent. I now have two of these bad boys in a 32”x60” tent and I could not be happier with the evenness of the canopy and the penetration of the light. I’m talking 8-12” of usable bud with a 2-4” fluctuation in top height. I need a bigger version of this for a commercial type setup!

like a mini sun in your tent. the plants seem to really dig the concentrated single source light compared to the spread of a board or bar array.
