HLG’s new lighting structure can now be upgraded with Daisy Chain capabilities. A daisy chain is a wiring strategy in which multiple lamps are wired together in sequence with the use of one power cord. This improvement uses fewer outlets and reduces electrical exposure with the use of multiple lamps.
When using a daisy chain with HLG lamps, the minimum gauge requirement for the cable is 14AWG. One must also be aware of the amp load. For reference of, please see the table below.
